I just want to take a second to say… “Holy shit, it’s on steam!”. This is a life time milestone, being on steam was one of my main goals since I started making games ~5 years ago.

Seeing the project I started and worked on for so much time on Steam is a dream come true! It truly feels “Legit” now, and all this was possible because of you guys, you who voted for the game when it was on Greenlight and you who were there supporting us since the first day, leaving comments on the blog and being part of this entire journey!… and it’s starting to sound cheesy, but seriously, keep being awesome!

Without getting too excited, it’s time to move to the next milestone: “Actually finishing and releasing the game” 😀

Teaser Trailer

Speaking of trailers… this is the video I worked on for several days. After many hours of editing and rendering I present you “The teaser trailer for Move or Die”

I had those live action shots recorded a few months ago and never got around to editing them, so I thought this would be a good time.

Would you say the trailer turned out well, or my face ruined the whole thing? 😀

New Menu Look

And finally, after a long while of having the same menu for the game, I leaned back and took a good look of the overall UI. This made me realize that everything is… too big. The text, the buttons, everything was big enough to be considered a couch/console game. Therefore I went in and manually re-scaled and moved everything around to make it a better experience for the average PC gamer, after all, it’s a PC game.

While I was doing that, I also created some new backgrounds for the menu and also threw the new 3D title graphics in there, check it out!

That’s about it for this Monday. Don’t forget to be awesome!

  1. I’m totally stoked it’s actually on Steam. This is definitely a day one purchase for me, and I hope every gamer on the planet gets this game.

  2. Your face didn’t ruin the trailer at all, it makes it stand out a lot more, most trailers don’t use live action, and your trailer fits in very well.
It’s definitely awesome that it’s on Steam too, that’s a great accomplishment!

I wish I could use 1337 as an IP port…
